Ethel R. Ross, 87, beloved mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law of Brownsville, TX passed away Monday, May 1, 2022 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, TX. She was born in Hungary and emigrated to the United States in 1956 during the Hungarian Revolution and given permanent residency as a refugee. She lived in Cleveland, Ohio, Louisville, Kentucky, and Brownsville, Texas. She was a long-time employee of and retiree of Peyton’s Company of Kroger. She is survived by her sons Paul A. Ross, and Andrew L. Ross with his wife Patricia, grandchildren, Nathan Ross, Gregory Ross, and Louis Ross. A private family memorial service will be held for her on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX.
