Simona M. Rodriguez, 93, of San Benito, went to be with our lord, on March 21, 2022, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Gracie Rodriguez, and a granddaughter, Monica Zavala. Left to cherish her memory, is her loving husband, Francisco, her children, Paula (Felix) Gomez, Francisco Jr. (Antonia) Rodriguez, Guadalupe (Ignacio) Hinojosa, George (Beatrice)Rodriguez, Joe (Mary) Rodriguez, Simona (Marcos)Torres, Ernesto (Ana) Rodriguez, Esmeralda (Ramon) Galvan, Rene Rodriguez, Dora Rodriguez and Belia Vallejo. Also surviving are many, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and so much more family that was acquired over the years. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022, from 5 pm to 9 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, with a prayer service to e held at 7 pm. A Funeral Service will be held, on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at 10 am, at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, with burial to follow to Mont Meta Memorial Gardens. All individuals are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines by socially distancing a minimum space of 6 feet apart and must wear face covers or masks.
