Ramon Hernandez Machuca Jr., 73, of San Benito, went to be with our Lord on February 14, 2022, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ramon Machuca Sr., and Paula Hernandez Machuca, Elida Ponce, Angelita Lizcano, and Elvira Machuca. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Laura Hill(Andrew Allen Hill), and Jonathan Machuca, along with his siblings, Maria De La Luz Machuca, Alicia Rodriguez, Minerva Machuca, and Maria Cristina Martinez. Also surviving are his grandchildren Andrea Love Hill, and Tyler Jaiden Barrientos. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February, 17 2022, from 5 pm to 9 pm, with a Prayer Service to be held at 7 pm. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 2:30 pm at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in San Benito, with burial to follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park. Military Honors will be provided by The American Legion Post 205 of Harlingen.
