Obituary of Aaron "Sidney" Moore

Aaron Chester “Sidney” Moore, 49, was a lifetime resident of Port Isabel, member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron and Frances Moore. He was born August 31, 1972, and graduated from Port Isabel High School in 1990. He later earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Leadership. Then he would go on to become a Financial Investment Agent to assist others with their retirement investment options. His passion was watching his children compete in academia and extracurricular activities. Sunsets and long walks on the beach were just a few of his favorite things in life. He was preceded in death by his Maternal grandmother, Rosa G. Canada, Raymond C. Canada; Maternal grandfather, Baldemar C. Torres, Angelita C. Torres; Paternal grandparents, Sidney Moore, Ines Moore; Uncle, Jesus O. Torres; and Father-in-law, Francisco Torres. He is survived by his loving Wife of 23 years, Celina Torres Moore; Daughter, Athena Saylor Moore; 2 Sons, Aaron Sidney Moore and Rocco Major Moore; Parents, Aaron and Frances Moore; Mother-in-law, Lorraine Perez Torres; Brothers, Ross (Celeste) Moore, John (Belinda) Moore and Johnny(Lila) Puente; and Sister, Judith Moore (Darren, Sr.) Roberson, 9 Nephews and Nieces and several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., with the recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m., at the Port Isabel Event Center, 309 E. Railroad Street, Port Isabel, Texas. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St., Port Isabel, TX with cremation to follow in accordance with his wishes. Honored to serve as pall bearers will be: Athena Moore, Sidney Moore, Rocco Moore, Ross Moore, John Moore, Darren Roberson, Johnny Puente, and Eric Louviere. All individuals are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines by socially distancing a minimum space of 6 feet apart and face covers or masks are recommended.
