Rafael “Pie” Munoz, 54, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 24, 2022, in Greely, Colorado. He was born on December 8, 1967, in Las Yescas, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Munoz; sister, Adelaida Garza; brother in laws, Rodolfo Garza and Daniel Gonzalez; a sister in law, Lucy Munoz; a nephew, Manuel “Manny” Sandoval III and a niece Josie Garza. He is survived by his sons, Rafael Munoz Jr. and Samuel Munoz of Colorado; his loving mother, Lydia Munoz of Las Yescas; his 7 brothers, Roberto (Maria Elena) Munoz, Ruben (Ester) Munoz, Jimmy Munoz, Jorge Munoz, Eraquio “Lucky” (Maria Seta) Munoz, Jose Jr.(Lucy+) Munoz, and Felipe (Lourdes) Munoz; 4 sisters, Alicia Sandoval, Lucy (Domingo) Losoya, Sally (Daniel+) Gonzalez, and Lydia Lou Munoz; and numerous of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, from 4 p.m., until 9 p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at 7 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. A Chapel service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 2, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with burial to follow at Las Yescas. Honored to be serving as pallbearers are Felipe Munoz, Felipe Munoz, Jr., Ernie Sandoval, Ernie Sandoval, Jr., Roberto Munoz, Bobby Munoz, Frank Cantu, and Xavier Garza.
