Juan Manuel Olguin Sr., 72, of San Benito, TX. passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving wife, children, and grandchildren. Juan Manuel Olguin was a loving hardworking husband, father, and grandfather. Manuel worked at McCoy’s for over 20 years. When Manuel retired, he spent his days working around the house. There was no project too big or small for him (Grandpa can do anything)! He is preceded in death mother, father, and brother. Juan Manuel Olguin is survived by his wife: Estella Olguin, daughter: Deyanira Olguin (Nicolas Jimenez, Jr.), son: Juan M. Olguin, Jr., son: Hector Olguin, daughter: Dynora Olguin Hernandez (Jose Hernandez), son: Jesus Olguin (Lucia Menedez) and six grandchildren: Deya Olguin, Jadyn Olguin, Isabella Olguin, Joshua Olguin, Dynora Olguin, and Camillia Olguin, sister: Ofelia Olguin Washington (Richard Washington), sister: Rosalinda Olguin Herrera (Cesar Alejandro Herrera), brother: Miguel Olguin (Maria Olguin). Visitation will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A Chapel Service will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with interment to follow at San Benito Memorial Park. All individuals are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines by socially distancing a minimum space of 6 feet apart and face covers or masks are recommended.
