Leonardo “Leo” A. Villarreal, 44, of Port Isabel, Texas passed away Monday September 27, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his father: Epifanio Villarreal, 1 brother: Juan Jose Aguilar, and 1 sister: Minerva A. Villarreal. He is survived by his loving wife: Estella Reyes, 1 daughter: Leah Villarreal, 3 step children: Isabel Aguilar, Julian Olalde and Aaron Olalde; mother: Delfina A. Villarreal, 3 brothers: Arnulfo A. Villarreal, Refugio A. Villarreal, Victor Villarreal, 3 sisters: Dolores Villarreal, Lucy (Jarred) Villarreal Martinez, Laura V. Garza and 1 sister-in-law: Maria Elena Aguilar, Father and Mother-in-law: Anthony and Isabel Zamora, several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Visitation will be held Wednesday October 06, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 07, 2021 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St., Port Isabel, Texas with cremation to follow according to his wishes. All individuals are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines by socially distancing a minimum space of 6 feet apart and must wear face covers or masks.
