Mario Zamora Jr., 43, of Port Isabel, Texas passed away Monday August 23, 2021. Mario was an aficionado when it came to cars. He appreciated the uniqueness of each vehicle. When he wasn’t admiring automobiles, you would find him listening to and enjoying his music. More than anything else, he enjoyed and found comfort in spending time with family. Mario is preceded in death by his mother: Olga Letty Zamora, paternal grandmother: Romula Nena Zamora, maternal grandparents: Carlos Hernandez, and Francisca Hernandez. Left to cherish Mario’s memories are his wife: Brenda Romero Zamora, children: Jocelyn M. Zamora, Mario A. Zamora, Jr., father: Mario (Bobby) Zamora, grandfather: Juan Zamora, brothers: Jose A. Garcia, Juan C. Zamora, Fernando R. Zamora, sisters: Francisca Letty Garcia, Nubia G. Zamora, Tina M. Zamora, aunts, uncles, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 21, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a holy rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito,Tx. Burial of cremated remains will be held at a later day. All individuals are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines by socially distancing a minimum space of 6 feet apart and must wear face covers or masks.
