Esther G. Gonzalez, 83, of San Benito, went to be with the Lord, on July 31, 2021 at Victoria Comfort Home in Harlingen, surrounded by loving family. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Octavio and Julia Gonzalez, her siblings, Toby and Sam Gonzalez, and Noemi Duran. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Elias Gonzalez Sr., her children, Elias Jr. (Alma) , Eloy, and Eliut Gonzalez, her siblings, Esperanza, Tabita, Julie, Ricardo, and Tules. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren, Elias III, and David, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous other family members. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Templo El Salvador Church, 1605 S. Sam Houston Blvd., San Benito, TX, 78586, with a prayer service to be held at 7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Templo El Salvador, with interment to follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito. The family would like to give special thanks to Mt. Sinai Hospice, Victoria Comfort Home, Dr. Luis Reynoso, and Dr. Jorge Flores for all their love and caring.
