Orlando Lopez, 51, of Port Isabel, Texas passed away on July 21, 2021. Orlando was a lifelong resident of Port Isabel and member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel. He was a 1987 graduate of Port Isabel High School. He was honorably discharged from the United States Navy and was a veteran of Desert Storm. He worked with Stan’s Trucking and South Packing Group. He was a Team Member since 2017. He is preceded in death by his son: Morgan Xavier Lopez, father: Javier Lopez, maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents. Left to cherish his memories are 2 daughters: Hannah Lynelle Lopez, Narindirah Singh, mother: Imelda Flores Lopez, 2 sisters: Laura Lopez, Suzanna Lopez, 1 uncle: Alejo Lopez, 5 grandchildren: Ryan Jerel McCants, Jr., Haleigh Cataliya Lopez, Cayleigh Jornee Lopez, Sophia Rodriguez, Narindirah Rodriguez, 2 nephews: Alex Maldonado, Joaquin Lima, 2 nieces: Jessica Renae Villarreal, Lorena Lima and several cousins. Visitation will be held Monday August 09, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday August 10, 2021 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with Military Honors to proceed thereafter. Cremation will then follow as per his wishes.
