Nicolas S. Gaona Jr., 47, of San Benito, Texas, entered into eternal rest on July, 22, 2021, in Harlingen, Texas. Left to cherish his memory are his parents; Nicolas S. Gaona Sr. and Guadalupe C. Gaona siblings, Joel Cuevas, Eleazar Cuevas, Macario Cuevas Guadalupe Gaona Cuevas and Martin Gaona Cuevas as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home, San Benito, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at 10 a.m., at Thomae Garza Funeral Home with cremation services to follow in accordance to his wishes. All individuals are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines by socially distancing a minimum space of 6 feet apart and wear face covers or masks.
