Irasema Garcia, 53, of San Benito, TX, went to be with our Lord on May 7, 2021 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. She is preceded in death by her father Luis Galvan Sr. ; stepfather, Horacio Villarreal, nephew, Orlando Hernandez. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Armando Garcia, Mother; Maria Elena Galvan, and children; Maria Elena, Armando , Amanda, Denise, and Ritchelle Garcia. Also surviving are her siblings, Rachel Galvan, Sandra Lozano, Luis Galvan, Kimberly Cartwright, and Jose Angel Villarreal, along with 18 grandchildren. Irasema was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother. She was a medical technologist who was a very hard worker, and loved by many. Her husband, mother and grandchildren were her whole life. She will be greatly missed. We love you so much. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, from 5pm-9pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary to be held at 7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at 10 am at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in San Benito. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito. All individuals are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines by socially distancing a minimum space of 6 feet apart and must wear face covers or masks.
