Sabina Negrete Solis, 90, of San Benito, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Margarito Negrete; and her parents Domingo Solis and Seferina Trujillo. Left to cherish Sabina’s Memory are her children, Yolanda(Mario) Sanchez, Gardenia(Omar)Montez, Juanita(Leonel) Rodriguez, Celeste Negrete(Juan G.) Yanez, Viviana Negrete(Robert) Ortega, Ramon Negrete(Janis Luera), Maricela Negrete Rodriguez, and Francisca (Jose Luis) Garcia. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous and extended family members. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 5pm to 9pm with a recitation of the Holy Rosary to be held at 7pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021, at 10am at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, 606 W. Ocean Blvd. in Los Fresnos. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito. Due to current restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart.
