Obituary of George Espinoza

George Espinoza of San Benito, Texas passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. He was born to Pedro Espinoza and Estanislada Briones. He was a life long resident of San Benito. George spent many years as a dedicated correctional officer and loved what he did. He loved to travel and did so after he retired. He was a loving son, brother, tio, companion and friend. He was always willing to help you when you needed it and it never failed he always had a joke to go with it. Our hearts hurt to know you are gone, but we know you are in a better place. We love you to infinity and beyond and know this is a temporary good bye, till we see you again. George is preceded in death by his father Pedro Espinoza Sr. , mother Estanislada Briones, and brother Pedro Espinoza Jr. He is survived by 4 sisters Hilda (Jose) Sandoval, Yolanda (Vicente Danilo) Ramirez, Maria Hernandez, Guadalupe (Fransico) Hernandez, brother Juan Espinoza, numerous nieces and nephews. Honored to be Paul barriers: Hilda Espinosa, Maria Hernandez, Juan Espinoza, Jose Sandoval Sr., Jose Sandoval Jr., Xavier Chaidez, Carlos Lopez, Issac Sandoval, Vicente Danilo Ramirez, Jorge Hernandez and Brandon Chila. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 along with a 7pm Rosary at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A chapel service will be on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 10 am with burial to follow at San Benito City Cemetery in San Benito, Texas. Due to current COVID restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart.
