Guadalupe S. Garcia, 75, was called home by our Lord on October 07, 2020. She was born in San Benito to Refugio and Refugia Sanchez on September 13, 1945. Guadalupe known as “Lupana,” aka “Grandma Pana,” was a kind hearted, selfless, God loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She had a beautiful soul that could light up a room with just her presence. She was caring and giving to all, whether it be a stranger in a store, or a fellow churchgoer on a Sunday morning. She was always willing to help anyone in need, especially her children and grandchildren. She welcomed all her family and friends into her house with laughter and home cooked meal, one of her greatest passions. She was fondly known for her breakfast tacos, and the caldo she made for anyone who was sick. She especially loved the holidays, because that meant her home would be packed with her children and grandchildren. Among some of her other passions, was traveling with friends and getting away from the world by going to Kikapoo. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Refugio and Refugia Sanchez, mother in law Isabel Chavez, son Jose Cruz Garcia, daughter Michelle Garcia Roa, and grandson Jose Hilario Roa III and numerous family members. Left to treasure her memories is her husband of 58 years Manuel Garcia, sons Jose Cruz + (Gracie) Garcia, Refugio ( Beatrice) Garcia, and Arnold ( Sylvia) Garcia, Alex (Fatima) Garcia. She is also remembered by her daughters Linda Garcia , Mary (Doug) Huebert, Michelle + (Joe) Roa, and Selma (Paul) Bermudez. She is further remembered by grandchildren Kelly ( Aaron), Mark Garcia, Refugio Garcia Jr, Eric ( Erica) Padilla, Michael Padilla, Matthew ( Josie) Padilla, John Paul & Jacob Bermudez, Maddie Garcia, Lori Ybarra(Richard Carmona), and Priscilla Del Rio(Lionel). She has even touched the lives, and will be remembered by even the youngest great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
