Obituary of Narciso Flores Jr.

Narciso Flores Jr, 76, passed away on September 21, 2020 after a long illness. Born November 3, 1943. Narciso was cared for and loved by his children in Fort Worth, Texas. As a child, his parents Narciso and Noberta Flores guided him to follow a straight and honest life. He worked as a commercial fisherman for many years before going to work at a condominium in South Padre Island. Narciso worked hard to provide for his family and taught his children to follow the same principles in life. Narciso will be greatly missed by his family and many that came across his path. We love you dad. He was preceded in death by his wife Isabel Garza Flores; Grandson Miguel Sebastian Tovar, parents: Narciso Flores, Sr and Noberta Flores, and 1 brother, Leonzo Camacho. Surviving him are his loving children: Martin Flores, Mario Flores, Narciso Flores III, Alonso Flores, Roberto Flores and Violeta Iris Flores. Also surviving are his siblings: Sylvia Flores, Enriqueta Flores Quiroz, Noberta Flores Banda, Esperanza Flores Kokel, Ambrosio Flores , Maria Antonia Flores Gonzalez, Juan Flores, Artemio Flores, and Dora Flores Doria; grandchildren: Jessica Lee Flores, Christopher Brandon Flores, Naomi B. Flores, Joseph D. Flores, Abigail I. Flores, Arturo Tovar Jr., Bryan A. Tovar, Manuel Enrique Tovar, Alonzo Bud Flores, and Isabel Rose Tovar; and great grandchild Hayden Forester. Due to current COVID restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart. All individuals must wear face coverings or masks. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2020 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria Street in Port Isabel, Texas. Interment will follow at Port Isabel City Cemetery.
