Maximiliano “Max” Perez, 35, of San Benito, Texas passed away on September 5, 2020. Max loved his only child dearly. He was an outgoing and loveable person who enjoyed outings with friends and most of all, family. Max was a sports fanatic. He loved children and volunteered as a coach for basketball and baseball. He loved helping displaced children. Max will be remembered for his laughter and witty remarks. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Rosa Perez; paternal uncle, Leonel Perez; and maternal uncle, Ramiro Martinez. Left to cherish Max’s memory is his son, Maximiliano Perez Jr, or “Little Max”; his parents: Santiago Perez and Gloria Martinez Perez; his twin sisters Adriana Perez-Luna and Angelica Perez-Guerra; his brother Santiago Perez Jr.; nephews: Raul A Luna, Roel A Luna, Roberto A. Luna, and Alfred M. Guerra; his niece Amelia C. Perez; as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins, and dear friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with an evening service at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae Garza Funeral Home.
