Isabel Guadalupe Alfaro, 71 of Santa Monica, Texas, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Salvador and Felicitas R. Gomez, daughter Sandra Alfaro and sister Eduviges Garza. Isabel is survived by her husband, Florencio Alfaro Jr. and daughter Nora Alfaro 7 grandchildren; Eric Jamie, Adrian Jamie, Aaron Alfaro, Armando Salas, Fernando Salas Jr., Domonic Alfaro, Albert Casas Jr., and one great granddaughter Emma Mai Jamie, 3 siblings Luis Gomez, Rachel Waddel,and Oralia Flores. A visitation will begin Tuesday, September 15, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A chapel service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Rio Hondo, Texas and burial will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas. Due to current restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart.
