Michael W. “Louie” Lewis, 63, of South Padre Island, TX, passed away on September 4th in his home. Louie was born in Charlotte, West Virginia to Marjorie and Jack Lewis on October 24th, 1956. He worked as a Project Manager for the Isla Grand Beach Resort for nearly 30 years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, traveling, watching the cubs, and enjoying time with friends and family. Louie is survived by his wife, Lori Lewis; Daughter, Holli Gomez; Son, Michael Rodriguez; Son, Matthew Vogel; Daughter, Miranda Lewis; Grandson, Jackson Gomez; Sister, Lynn Fischer; Brother, Patrick Lewis; Brother, Tim Lewis; and Mother, Marjorie Lewis. He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Lewis. There will be no funeral services as per Louie’s request. Instead, there will be a celebration of life to be held at Louie’s Backyard on September 10th at 6:30PM. A private ceremony for the family to be held at a later date.
