Nancy E. Seija, 68 of Olmito, Texas, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020. She was born in Barranquilla, Colombia on December 29, 1951 often traveling to Chicago finally made her move in 1969 and settled in Los Fresnos, Texas in 1983. She was an avid crafter and seamstress. She was a great mother, grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed. Nancy is preceded in death by her mother(Maria Peluffo). Left to cherish her memory are her 8 children, Susy Seija, Humberto Seija (Sylvia), Richard Seija (Nancy), Nancy Rice(Jason), Janet Araiza(Norberto), Miguel Araiza(Yvette), Rene Araiza(Vanessa), George Araiza(Victoria) and 20 grandchildren whom she loved dearly. A visitation will begin Wednesday, August 12, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at St. Ignacio Catholic Church in El Ranchito in accordance to her wishes cremation to follow.
