Jesus Garcia, 65 of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2020. He is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Garcia; brother, Daniel Garcia; and his parents, Gregorio and Maria S. Garcia. Jesus is survived by his sons, Jesus (Maribel) Garcia, Jr. and Hilario (Esmeralda) Martinez; two grandchildren, Desiree Adele Garcia and Ian Gael Garcia; three sisters, Juanita Sandoval, Maria “Lupe” Sandoval, and Mary Aguirre; two brothers, Apolonio Garcia and Greg Garcia Jr.; and his beloved dog, Charlie. Visitation will begin Monday, July 27, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in El Ranchito and burial will follow at San Benito City Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Greg Sandoval, Isidro Sandoval Jr., Aaron D. Aguirre, Noe Aguirre Jr., Greg Garcia III, Matthew Garcia, Sergio Padilla, and Mike Garcia.
