Daniel Perez Jr., 63, of Laguna Heights, Texas, passed away on July 14, 2020 in Brownsville, Texas. Daniel truly lived to the fullest. He enjoyed fishing and telling stories of his many life adventures. Daniel was a true believer of his Native American heritage and was very proud of it. Psalm 23- The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures. He leadeth me beside still waters. He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in paths of righteousness[ for his name's sake. He was preceded in death by his mother Emma Gloria Martinez and his father Daniel Perez Sr. He leaves behind his common law wife, Ernestina Ramirez; his children: Daniel Perez III, Charlie Perez, Priscilla Perez, Myra Perez, Cynthia Perez, and Joseph Perez. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters: Felipe Perez, Gloria Perez, Juan Jose Perez, Elvira Perez, and Yesenia Henderson; as well as his grandchildren: Troy Cortes, Mason Daniel Perez, Michael Joseph Perez, Joseph Perez, Kaitlin Perez, and Amire Perez.
