Ruben Sanchez Flores, 70 of Olmito, Texas, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020, in Harlingen, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sotero and Maria Del Carmen Sanchez; son, Alfredo Quintero; and two brothers, Leonor Sanchez and Ramon Sanchez. Ruben is survived by his loving wife, Maria Petra Vasquez Sanchez; sons, Ruben Sanchez Jr. and Alejandro Sanchez; daughter, Maria Del Carmen Sanchez; daughters-in-law, Karina Merari Iracheta and Sonia Sanchez; son-in-law, Alejandro Garza; grandchildren, Victoria, Ricardo Jr., Roberto, Alejandro Jr., Ruben Isaias, Ramon, Jizelle, Osira, Giovanni, Elyzette, Lee, Alessandra, Jose Leonor, and Mia Nicole; brothers and sisters, Roman, Isidro, Silverio, Elena, Elva, and Enedina. Visitation will begin Thursday, July 23, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7:00p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home and cremation will follow. Due to current restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart.
