I attended Burkburnett High School and after attended college in Shreveport where I graduated as a Physical Education Teacher. I married John Taylor on October of 1947 and had 2 children Vickie and John. We also had a wonderful dog that I loved dearly, Lorelie. I have lived in many places including, Tegulcigalpa, Honduras, Laredo, Atlanta and finally settled in Laguna Vista. I enjoy painting with oil and acrylic but most of all working with pen & ink. I volunteered at the Gladys Porter Zoo but mostly in the gorilla unit. I love my life and the color purple, all twenty shades; and I am known as the Purple Lady.” Ms. Lear was an entrepreneur who owned two Electrolysis Clinics. She liked to play tennis and golf.
