Matilde Martinez Vargas, 59 of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2020, in Harlingen, Texas.
She is survived by her loving husband, Maximiliano Gonzalez; six children, Gladis Hanet Rodriguez Martinez, Beatriz Adriana Pina Martinez, Juan Carlos Pina, Zenon Pina Martinez, Jose L. Gonzalez, and Luz E. Gonzalez; along with several grandchildren.
Visitation will begin Friday, July 17, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Cremation to follow the service.
Due to current restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart. All individuals must wear face coverings or masks. (May include bandanas or sewn or cloth face coverings).
