Please share a memory of Ricardo to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ricardo “Ricky” Zamora III, 51 of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, in Houston, Texas. Ricardo Zamora III (Pops) was an extremely passionate and loving father, grandfather, grandson, son, uncle, brother, nephew, and brother-in-law. Ricky had many hobbies, including hunting, fishing, fixing low rider bikes and his favorite was fixing his race car, an ’85 Buick Regal (boy was it fast). Ricky’s favorite race car driver was Dale Earnhardt #3, he would not be seen without wearing a #3 anywhere. It was never a dull moment around him, always making us laugh with his jokes and clowning around. With all the joking aside he (Pops) was a hard worker always putting other’s needs first, whether it was fixing a/c’s, plumbing, electrical, etc. He will be missed and never forgotten. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ricardo Jr., and Cecilia C. Zamora; maternal grandfather, Carlos Cantu; paternal grandparents, Ricardo and Maria Santos Zamora; brother-in-law, Reynaldo Barrientez; and numerous uncles and aunts. Ricardo is survived by his three sons, Richard Zamora, Ricardo Zamora IV, and Troy Garza; grandchildren, Aaliyah Faith Zamora, Eli Carter Zamora, Nevaeh Zamora, and Ariana Lynn Zamora; ex-wife, Yvonne Castellanos; maternal grandmother, Veronica Cantu; three sisters and four brothers, Gloria Barrientez (Alberto V.), Rosa Z.
