As an older adult she moved to West Texas for some time before moving back to the Rio Grande Valley. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who would do anything to make sure her family was taken care of. On her spare time, she didn’t relax, she was always on the go tending to her animals or finding some yard work that needed to be done. If she relaxed for a minute you would find her with her crossword puzzle book in hand. She attended 8th & Harrison Church of Christ in Harlingen, Texas, where she met and loved many. She also attended Trinidad Adult Day Care Center in Rio Hondo, which if you knew our mother, you’d know that she would do anything to not miss a day being there. It was a place where she met and made several of her friends that she loved dearly. Her passion for the love of playing Lotería/Bingo or like she would call it – Chalupa, it was the highlight of her day, win or lose she enjoyed sitting at her table with her custom-made cards and her bag full of coins ready to yell out her Bingo. Mom had a love for anyone who came across her even after her life on this earth she wanted to gift a part of herself to someone in need by being an organ donor. You will truly be missed mom but always loved and remembered by those who’s lives you’ve touched.
