Sean L. Smith, 17 of Laguna Vista, Texas, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020, in Harlingen, Texas. He was a senior at Port Isabel High School and member of the soccer team. Sean enjoyed spending his summers at Schlitterbahn’s Boogie Bahn on South Padre Island. He was also a member of Bridge Community Church in Port Isabel. Sean was dearly loved and will be missed by many. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Katrina Jo Smith; and maternal grandfather, Donald Ray Tramel. Sean is survived by his loving parents, Marcus Ryan Smith and Brandy Lynn Tramel; two brothers, Levi Smith and Gavin Smith; one sister, Brook Tramel; paternal grandfather, Marcus E. Smith; and maternal grandmother, Judy Darelene Tramel. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Bridge Community Church, 118 E. Washington St., Port Isabel, Texas officiated by Pastor Steve Martinez.
