Leopoldo “Leo” Garcia, 55 of Los Fresnos, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, in Austin.
He is preceded in death by his father, Crispin L. Garcia; brother, Amado Garcia; and his grandmother, Santos Perez.
Leo is survived by his loving wife, Adelaida “A.J.” Garcia; daughter, Kabrina J. Garcia; son, Joshua C. Garcia; mother, Aurora P. Garcia; seven siblings, Juan Garcia, Claudio Garcia, Armando Garcia, Rene Garcia, Tina Smith, Cristela Corona, and Leticia Lopez; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin Sunday, January 26, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 27, 2020, at St. Benedict Catholic Church with burial to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Armando Garcia, Rene Garcia, Mark Garcia, Alfredo Mendoza, Orlando Mendoza, Felipe Cantu, Joshua C. Garcia, and William A. Jaramillo.
