Obituary of Angelita P. Quesada

Angelita P. Quesada, 78 of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, in Harlingen, Texas. She was born May 31, 1941 in San Benito, Texas to Ernesto and Matilde Pena.

Angelita is preceded in death by her parents, Ernesto and Matilde G. Pena; son, Ruben Quesada; daughter, Ester Quesada; granddaughter, Angie Nicole Hernandez; sisters, San Juana (Isidro) Casillas and Hilda (Raymundo) Cantu; brother, Pablo Pena; and daughter-in-law, Francisca Maribel Quesada.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Teresita Quesada, Roberto Quesada, Bonnie Lou Quesada, Abby Lee Quesada, Pamela (Jesus) Hernandez, Adam Greg (Christy) Cantu, and Marisela Salazar; brother, Baltazar (Elisa) Pena, Juan Pena, and Carlos (Rosie) Pena; and sister-in-law, Oralia Pena.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, November 27, 2019, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 29, 2019, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Combes St., San Benito, Texas. Cremation will follow in accordance to her wishes.
