Obituary of Antonio M. Vasquez

Antonio M. Vasquez, 79,  son of the late Francisco and Marina Vasquez passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019.

Antonio was born in San Benito, Texas on March 9, 1940.  He attended catholic schools and San Benito High School. He learned to play the accordion at an early age and played locally. He was well known for his style of playing left handed.

Antonio  is preceded in death by his wife, Arminda “Minnie” Jaramillo; and his brother Jose Vasquez.

Antonio is survived his two step-daughters, Mari Jaramillo and Melissa Jaramillo; brother, Roberto M. (Aurora) Vasquez of Burley, Idaho; and his first cousin Luis Macias; niece, Janie Miranda; as well as other cousins and relatives.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, September 25, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. recited by The Catholic Daughters of San Benito at Thomae Garza Funeral Home. In accordance to his wishes, cremation will follow.
