Obituary of Alejandro "Alex" Cruz Blancas

Alejandro “Alex” Cruz Blancas, 71, of South Padre Island, Texas, entered into rest on Thursday, July 25, 2019.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Abel Blancas and Candelaria Cruz, one brother and one sister.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Patricia Fassold Blancas; one son, Ruben Alejandro Blancas; one daughter, Sandra Blancas; two step-sons, Raymond (Stacey) Brandriff and Christopher Brandriff; three grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Blancas and Miguel Blancas; three sisters, Rosie Blancas, Dina Blancas and Tania Blancas as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A memorial mass will be held on Monday, July 29, 2019, at 2;00 p.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church located at 705 Longoria street in Port Isabel Texas.

In lieu of flowers you may make memorial donations in memory of Alejandro “Alex” Cruz Blancas to the Laguna Madre Humane Society to p.o. box 13258, Port Isabel, TX 78578
