Delia Machuca Mercado, 66, of San Benito, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 in Harlingen, Texas..
She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Margarita G. Machuca; two brothers, Jose Maria Machuca and Israel Machuca.
Delia is survived by her husband, Javier Mercado; two daughters, Isabel (Dimas) Mercado and Maribel (Luis Leobardo) Mercado; six grandchildren, Marissa R. Gloria, Mikel S. Gloria, Marlina T. Gloria, Mia U. Gloria, Joshua Noah Garcia and Paula Jewel Garcia; two brothers, Florentino Machuca and Manuel Machuca Jr.; three sisters, Elena (Cirildo) Pinon, Maria Isabel (Hilario Sr.) Avila and Rosalinda (+Reynaldo) Rodriguez as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin Friday, July 26, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Thomae Garza Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are, Dimas Rivas, Luis Leobardo Garcia, Laterance Wallace, Mikel S. Gloria, Cirildo Pinon, Hilario Avila Jr., Placido Lopez, Jr. and Rolando Rodriguez.
