Obituary of Francisco Torres

Francisco “Pancho” Torres, 69, of Port Isabel, Texas passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at his residence in Port Isabel.

Francisco Torres was born in Port Isabel, Texas to Margarita Troncoso and Sipreano Torres on December 14, 1949. He worked as a welder and marine lineman at Marine Mart/Nautical Marine for 35 years. He enjoyed fishing, family gatherings with brothers and sisters, and most of all being with his grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Margarita T. and Sipreano Torres; nephew, Rodney Perez; and several uncles and aunts.

Francisco is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Lorraine Perez Torres; daughters, Celina (Sidney) Moore, Jessica (Jack) Hernandez, and Vanessa (Eric) Louviere; grandchildren, Athena, Sidney, and Rocco Moore, Julian and Savannah Louviere; brothers and sisters, Rosie (Balde) Valdez, Katie (Pat) Manning, Alicia (Pat) Perez, Emilia (♰Humberto) Martinez, Mary (Manny) Espinoza, Janie (Victor) Barrera, Tony (♰Sylvia) Torres, Cipriano (Bernice) Torres, and Danny (Perla) Torres.

Visitation will begin Thursday, April 25, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St., Port Isabel, Texas.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church with interment to follow at Port Isabel Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Balde Valdez Jr., Lando Torres, Manny Espinosa, Danny Torres, Cipi Torres, John William Barrera, Eric Louviere, and Sidney Moore.
