Obituary of Bertha Perez

Bertha Perez, 86, of Laguna Vista, Texas passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at her residence in Laguna Vista.

Bertha was a lifetime resident of Port Isabel, Texas and a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Fermin Perez; three sons, Encarnacion, Gerardo, and Israel Perez; and her parents, Guadalupe and Carolina Gomez.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Carmen (Manuel) Hinojosa, Yolanda Perez, Concepcion (Luis) Buitureira, Susana (Abram) Moncivais; sons, Salomon (Sandra) Perez, Fidencio Perez, Felix Perez, Guadalupe (+Martha) Perez, Cesar (Juana) Perez, and Javier (Katherine) Perez; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, October 30, 2018, from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas and will continue from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria, Port Isabel, Texas.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church with burial to follow at Port Isabel Cemetery.
