Obituary of Gregorio Montez

Gregorio “Juice” Montez, 58, entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 31, 2018. He was born in San Benito, Texas on September 12, 1959 to Guadalupe and Celedonia Montez.

He was a beloved father who loved football, fishing, gardening and his dogs. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Celedonia Montez; and his brother, Guadalupe Montez Jr.

Gregorio is survived by his loving family, wife Estella Montez, daughter Natalia Montez, and son Gregorio Montez Jr; brother and sisters, Celedonia (Gregorio) Hernandez, Noemi (Ruben) Huerta, Adriana (Jesus) Garcia, Jose Cruz (Rosie) Montez, Omar (Emma) Montez, and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
