Obituary of Leonor Estrada

Leonor Estrada, 104, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018, at Aurora House in Weslaco, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Gaspar Varela; second husband, Santos Estrada; sister, San Juana Garcia; 2 brothers, Juan and Gustavo Castro; and granddaughter, Yolanda Garcia.

Leonor is survived by her 2 children, Lilia De La Cruz and Israel Barela; grandchildren, Victor (Mary) De La Cruz, Blanca (Daniel) Figueroa, Teresita (Antonio) Rodriguez, Israel Barela, Joe Barela, Ricardo Barela, Leroy Barela, Joann Molina, and Janet Villalon; great-grandchildren, Reynaldo De La Cruz, Marisol Rodriguez, Daniel Figueroa R., David Figueroa, Davianna Sullivan, Nathanial Rodriguez, and Rebekah Rodriguez along with other great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren, Jasmine Figueroa, Jacob Figueroa, Isaiah Figueroa, David I. Figueroa, Hiram Figueroa, Josiah Figueroa, Asa Figueroa, Sebastian Sullivan, and Moses Rodriguez.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

Chapel service will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
