Obituary of David Mejorado Martinez

David Mejorado Martinez, 72, of San Benito, Texas passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Harlingen Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Gloria Martinez; 3 sons: Conrad (Diana) Huerta, David (Miriam) Martinez Jr., and Enrique Martinez; 4 daughters: Minnie (Shane) Scoggins, Delia (Rene) Cruz, Dora (Ronnie Ybarra) Martinez and Leticia (Celso) Acosta; 19 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters: Maria Hernandez, Noemi Ramirez, Guadalupe Gallegos and Graviela Gallegos; as well as other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Thomae-Garza Funeral with burial to follow at San Benito Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Conrad Huerta, David Martinez Jr., Enrique Martinez, Jacob Joe Puente, Rene Cruz Jr. and Joshua Conde; serving as honorary pallbearers are Joshua Martinez and David Serrata Martinez.
