Obituary of Carmen Ledesma

Carmen Ledesma, 89, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on March 16, 2018 in San Benito, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband; Jose Hijinio Ledesma, parents; Enrique Mendiola and Natividad Lumbreras, as well as one aunt Timotea L. Gonzales.

Carmen is survived by her daughters; Celia R. Lopez and Rosalinda G. Lara, eleven grandchildren; Jose Luis Gonzales, Maria Irma Gonzalez, Melba Losoya, Juan Lopez Maria E. Lopez, Joe Lopez Jr., Luz Lopez, Toribio “Toby” Lopez, David Lopez and Donna Lopez, thirty five great-grandchildren; Linda Lara, Norma Lara, Mary Jane Lara, Juan Mario Lara Jr., Marcos C. Lara, Esmeralda Torres, Salvador Torres, Lillybeth Leal, Jose Luis Gonzalez Jr., Sabreina Gonzalez, Carlos Gonzalez, Alex Roel, Ricky Roel, Cindy Roel, Marisol Roel, Natalia Lopez, Jasmin Lopez, Armando Alonzo, Abraham Alonzo, April Alonzo, Anthont Lopez, Caelii I. Zambrano, Elizabeth Lopez, Dayne Lopez, Athian Nicolas Barron, Estephanie Ramos, Elizabeth Ramos, Alexia V. Hernandez, Rosa Liliana Lopez, Raelene Lopez, Senaida Lopez, Ricardo Medrano III, Lisa Maria Medrano and Emilio Medrano,as well as 20 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 201 at St. Teresa Catholic Church with burial to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
