Obituary of Manuel Obregon Vasquez

Manuel Obregon Vasquez, 75, passed away on Sunday November 5, 2017 in San Benito, Texas. 

Manuel was a truck driver for over 30 years and owner of Vasquez Grocery. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Martina Obregon, Alfonso Vasquez, Genaro Vasquez, Maria D., Javier Vasquez, Genoveva Mendoza, and Eva Sotelo.

Manuel  is survived by his wife, Maria Luisa Vasquez, 7 daughters; Terry Letty  (Jesus De La Garza), Sylvia (Ramon Garza), Lally (Juan) Nino, Rosalinda (Rodrigo Ortega), Mely (Alfredo Garza) and Lisa (Randy Garza) one son; Manuel (Leonor Olivarez) Vasquez, one brother; Alejandro Vasquez, two sisters; Elida Ortiz and Irene Vasquez as well as 18  grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

 Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and continue on Wednesday November 8, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito Texas.

Funeral service will be held at  2:00 p.m.  on Thursday, November 9 , 2017  at Thomae Garza Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
