Obituary of Rodolfo Trevino Duarte

Rodolfo Treviño Duarte, 83, of Rosebud, Texas, passed away on November 2, 2017 in Harlingen,Texas.

He was a born again Christian man who believed in God and second chances.  Rodolfo accepted God in his last years and truly believed love is stronger than all, especially Gods’ love. He wanted to ask his children for their forgiveness and that he truly loved them.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonardo Duarte and Angelita Trevino Duarte one brother, Ancencion Duarte; and sisters, Julia Duarte.

Rodolfo is survived by his children, Rudy (Angelica) Duarte, Minerva (Jose Luis Castillo) Duarte, Carolina Duarte Tanner, Alfredo (Martha) Duarte, Arturo Duarte, Armando (Gracie) Duarte, and Marisol Duarte; three sisters, Juanita, Jesusita and Angelita; as well as two brothers, Juan Duarte and Valente Duarte.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November  6, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to  9:00 p.m. with a service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito Texas.

Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church and burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas.
