Obituary of Enrique R. Garcia

Enrique R. Garcia, 83, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on September 30, 2017, at Harlingen Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Francisco and Rebecca  Garcia, brothers; Jose Angel Garcia, Francisco Garcia II and Antonio Garcia as well as one daughter Ester Garcia and one brother in law; Ricardo De La Garza.

Enrique is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Maria L. Garcia and two daughters; Norma Garcia ( Toro) Solis and Cynthia Garcia - Martinez, three sons; Rick (Elida) Garcia, David Garcia and Rolando Garcia, grandchildren; Yvonne Rodriguez, Eric ( Jessica Draper)Rodriguez, John Michael (Mary) De La Rosa, Christopher (Amanda Rodriguez) De La Rosa, Krystal De La Rosa, Ryan Garcia, Reanne Garcia, David Aaron Garcia, Audrey (Jacob Martinez) Garcia and Abygail Garcia, nine great-grandchildren, siblings; Esparanza G. Rodriguez, Maria G. (Gilberto) Perez, Jesus (Ambarina) Garcia, Rebecca De La Garza. Alfredo Garcia, Consuelo (George) Herrera and Gilbert (Delia) Garcia.

Honored to be serving as pallbearers are Rick Garcia, David Garcia, Rolando Garcia, Jesus Garcia, Alfredo Garcia and Gilbert Garcia as well as honorary pallbearers John Michael De La Rosa, Chris De La Rosa, Eric Rodriguez, David Aaron Garcia and Ryan Garcia.

Visitation will be held  on Monday, October 2, 2017, from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Benedicts Catholic Church with burial to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
