Obituary of Alicia C. Garcia

Alicia Garcia, 42, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at Valley Baptist Medical Center, surrounded by those dearest to her heart, her family and closest friends.

Alicia, or “Lichita” as her family and friends dearly called her, was born to Ramon and Alicia Garcia on December 8, 1974, in San Benito, Texas. Her father preceded her in death.

Alicia is survived by her mother, Alicia C. Garcia, and siblings: Ramon (Yvette) Garcia, Sergio (Michelle) Garcia, and Ernesto (Elizabeth) Garcia. She was a loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews and a faithful friend to many.

Despite her physical limitations, Alicia proudly demonstrated her love and affection toward those dearest to her heart. She loved to sing hymns, and she always knew how to bring a smile to the faces of everyone around her. She will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 12 noon to 9 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

Chapel Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas with burial to follow at San Benito Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
