Port Isabel - Gregoria "Goyita" M. Ochoa, 33, of Port Isabel, was called to her eternal rest on Wednesday, February 21, 2007, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. Goyita was a lifetime resident of Port Isabel, She worked as an Office Clerk with Lack's Furniture for the past 14 years and a member of Our Lady Star of Sea Catholic Church of Port Isabel. Mrs. Ochoa is preceded in death by her sister, Yvonne Martinez-Aggi; maternal grandparents, Timoteo and Rebecca Barrientez; and paternal grandparents, Candelario and Mariana Martinez. She is survived by her husband Santiago Ochoa IV of Port Isabel; daughter, Aleyda Sinay Ochoa of Port Isabel; mother, Marcelina B. Martinez and father, Gregorio Martinez of Port Isabel; 4 sisters, Becky Martinez, Marisa (Daniel) Martinez Moreno, Erica (Concepcion) Camarillo, Jessica (Julio) Ramirez, all of Port Isabel; Numerous nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts. Father and Mother in laws, Santiago III and Sofia Ochoa of Port Isabel; Visitation will be held Saturday February 24, 2007 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Visitation will continued on Sunday February 25, 2007 from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady Star of Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St. in Port Isabel. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday February 26, 2007 at Our Lady Star of Sea Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Port Isabel City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rosalba Guevara, Liza Mock, Melanie Moore-Bennett, Paula Castillo, Lesley Girma, Mayte Martinez, Mario Salinas, and Nick Camacho.
