San Benito, Texas: Ofelia R. Delgado, 66 of San Benito, Texas passed away on December 23, 2006 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. She was born on October 8, 1940 in Mathis, Texas to Jose & Florinda Sandoval Lopez. Mrs. Delgado was the idea mother, loving and tender. She cared so much for children and family in general. Everyone agrees that the food she cooked was the very best. She is survived by: Husband: Benito Delgado Harlingen, Texas 2 Daughters: Sylvia ( Murl) Kemmerling Rio Hondo, Texas JoAnne Delgado Fulshear, Texas Son: Ismael (Blanca) Delgado San Benito, Texas 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. 2 Brothers: Rodolfo Lopez San Benito, Texas Artemio Lopez " " Pallbearers will be: Johnny Estrada, Johnny Rios, David Martinez, Cipriano Naranjo, Murl Kemmerling, and Frank Chavez. Visitation will be held on Christmas morning 12/25/06 from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at Templo Bautista Nueva Jerusalem located at 351 E. Powers in San Benito. Funeral will begin at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Al Prado officiating. Interment will follow to the San Benito City Cemetery.
