Port Isabel, Texas: Romula "Nena" Zamora, 77 of Port Isabel, Texas passed away on December 01, 2006 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville. Nena was a member of Our Lady Star of Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel. She was a past member of Fiesta Adult Day Care of Port Isabel and for the past two years she resided at Spanish Meadows Nursing Home in Brownsville. She is preceded in death by her parents: Pedro and Angela Vasquez; daughter, Maria Delgado; 2 brothers, Raul Vasquez and Roberto Vasquez; 2 sisters, Esperanza "Pola" Garcia and Antonia Vasquez. She is survived by her loving children: Martha Z. (Jose) Sandoval, Tina Z. (Lupe) Gonzalez, Alfredo (Lydia) Zamora, Juan Zamora Jr., Mario (Leticia) Zamora, Ricardo (Janie) Zamora, and Raul (Rosie) Zamora all of Port Isabel; Son in law, Manuel Delgado of Port Isabel; 1 Sister, Ernestina (Juan) Solis of Brownsville; 19 Grandchildren and 25 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will begin today, Sunday December 03, 2006 from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito and will continue from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady Star of Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St. in Port Isabel. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday December 4, 2006 at Our Lady Star of Sea Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Port Isabel City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jose Sandoval Jr., Mike Zamora, Santos Esquivel Jr., Raul Zamora Jr., Reuben Garza, Lupe Gonzalez, Edward Zamora, and Manuel Delgado.
