SAN BENITO - Margarito O. Ramirez, 72 passed away on November 7, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Ramirez was born on October 21, 1934 in Del Valle, Texas and was a migrant worker for many years, he had a great sense of humor, enjoyed baseball, football, and was very dedicated to his family. His hobbies included bike riding and fishing. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him. His survivors included: son Juan Roberto Ramirez of Austin, TX; 2 daughters: Deborah Whiteaker, Dawn Koller both of Random Lake, Wisconsin; 2 grandchildren and his 2nd wife: Irene Ramirez of Random Lake, Wisconsin. 2 sisters: Eloisa Nieto, Zenaida Lincon both of San Benito; 2 brothers: Faustino Garcia of Austin, TX and Guadalupe Ramirez of Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents Guadalupe and Beatriz Ojeda Ramirez, and his 1st wife: Mary Ramirez, daughter: Maria Luisa Ramirez, 2 brothers: Roberto Ramirez, and Jose Garcia. Pallbearers will be Ramiro Gutierrez, Jr., Reyes Herrera, Joe Herrera, Abel Acosta, Michael Lincon, David Garcia, Robert Ramirez, Jr., and Rey Pena. A prayer service was held last night at 7 p.m. viewing will begin this morning at 8 a.m. with the funeral to begin at 11 a.m. in the North Chapel of the funeral home, and interment will follow to the Mont-Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
