San Benito, TX- Maria De Los Santos, 76, of San Benito, passed away Monday, September 25, 2006. Mrs. De Los Santos was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and a resident of San Benito for the past 15 years. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Juan De Los Santos; 5 children, Maria Del Carmen Garza of Michigan; Hortencia Yebra of Kansas; Anita Leija of Brownsville, TX; Juana Maria Gutierrez and Ramon De Los Santos both of San Benito, TX. Also surviving are her 23 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 7 siblings. Visitations will be held today, September 27, 2006 and Thursday, September 28, 2006 from 12 noon to 9:00 P.M., with a Rosary to be held at 7:00 P.M. on both nights at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 29, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito. Pallbearers will be her granddaughters, Veronica Villarreal, Maria Medrano, Claudia Garza, Maria De Los Angeles Gutierrez, Maria Isabel Martinez, Perla Leija, Monica De Los Santos, and Erica De Los Santos.
