Manuel G. "Chuyito" Gonzales, 83, entered the kingdom of Christ on August 30, 2006 at Valley Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Gonzales was bron on March 9, 1923 in McAllen, Texas and was a lifetime resident of San benito, Texas.
He is survived include cousin, Teresa G. (Ismael) Benavidez of San Benito, Texas, and also numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ricardo and Irene Garcia Gonzales. Pallbearers will be: Nelda B. Melendez, Norma Benavidez, Noe Benavidez, Francisco Naranjo, Antonio Naranjo and benito Garcia.
Visitations will be held Friday, September 1, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow to San Benito City Cemetery.
