San Benito, TX- Destiny Hernandez, 3 yrs old, of San Benito passed away on April 1, 2009 at Methodist Heart Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
She preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Maria Gutierrez Delgado; paternal grandfather, Juan Hernandez Garcia;
Destiny is survived by her loving parents, Hector and San Juana Delgado Hernandez of San Benito; 1 brother, Hector Hernandez Jr., of San Benito; 5 sisters, Christy Hernandez, Yesenia Hernandez, Daisy Hernandez, Stephanie Hope Hernandez, and Ashley Rosy Hernandez all of San Benito; a nephew, Jordan Adam Lopez of San Benito; a niece, Brianna Faith Garza of San Benito. maternal grandfather, Liborio Delgado of Los Indios, Texas and paternal grandmother, Rosa Zavala of Los Indios, Texas; Several aunts, uncles, and other relatives;
Visitation will be held today Sunday, April 5, 2009 from 12 Noon to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Las Rucias, Texas. Interment will follow to Las Rusias Cemetery in Las Rucias, Texas.
